Carlos (Cardellino)
Age: 2022
Height: 15.3+
Gender: Gelding
Carlos is a lovely young prospect by popular 2017 & 2018 leading hunter sire, Carbardino. I acquired him in the spring of 2025 from trusted connections. Carlos is a Rheinlander/Holsteiner cross with loads of potential.
Because he is young and still growing, Carlos has been very lightly started under saddle. He is confidently walk/trot/cantering under tack and on the lunge. He has put over ground poles. He displays lovely movement and a very willing attitude. He is easy to catch, groom, load/trailer, stands for the vet/farrier and has a snuggly personality. I expect him to finish at 16 hh.
$18,000 sale – price will continue to increase with training.

Kona (Car Czar)
Age: 2017
Height: 16.2
Gender: Gelding
Kona is a super sweet gelding who I purchased from a Finger Lakes Racetrack trainer in September of 2020. He was unraced, unregistered and untattoo-ed. He had very minimal track training and was basically too big to be fast.
Kona has been one of the easiest horses to bring along. He has been exposed to so much in such a short time. He has been hunter paced and trail ridden. He fox-hunted for 2 seasons with the Genesee Valley Hunt – he is unphased by the hounds, and stands nicely for halting and gates. He was comfortable and easy to manage hunting first or second flight.
He has successfully competed at rated shows in 2’6″ hunter divisions and 2’9″-3′ jumper divisions. He has also completed several beginner novice events with dressage scores in the low 30s/high 20s. He qualified for 2022/2023 AECs.
He suffered from a pasture injury in 2023 and is now limited to 2’7″ hunters/jumpers/eventing.
Accolades include:
- 3rd place EOY award in the 2021 Syracuse PHA 2′ Opportunity Hunter division
- 1st place EOY award for the 2021 GVRDC Intro Horse division
- 2nd place in the GVRDC August Horse Trials/Area 1 Eventing Championships at Intro level with a Dressage score of 28.1
- 1st place at the Larkin Hill Horse Trials at Beginner Novice with a Dressage score of 33.5.
- 1st place EOY award for the 2022 & 2023 GVRDC Beginner Novice Horse division.
- USEA Area 1 Awards – 2022 Adult Amateur tied for 2nd place in Beginner Novice.
$425 per month on-site half lease (preferred) // $10,000 off-site annual lease

Smirk (Funnee)
Age: 2020
Height: 16.1
Gender: Mare
Smirk is a lovely mare who I purchased from CANTER PA/the Erie racetrack in September of 2022. She has had 3 starts in her short life and was too slow to continue to race.
Smirk is a quiet horse and very willing to learn. I have started her slowly and correctly. So far, she has been on many trail rides (working toward her 100 hours of TIP recreational riding), to multiple schooling horse shows, fox-hunted about 20 times with the Genesee Valley Hunt and trailers off-property well. She has had some cross-country schooling experience. She is going nicely walk, trot, canter and over 2′ courses.
She competed at her first USEA Starter-level rated events last year and finishing 4th & 1st, with dressage scores of 25.7 and 26 and two clear cross-country runs.
In 2025, she competed at her first recognized Dressage shows. She consistently scores in the high 60s/low 70s, qualified for USDF Regionals and helped me earn the first scores towards my Bronze medal. She is very comfortably showing at 1st & Training level, and schooling 2nd and 3rd level movements. She has an easy flying change.
Smirk has unlimited potential, however I believe she would love to move up the levels in dressage.

Rye (Brooklawn)
Age: 2020
Height: 16.2+
Gender: Gelding
Rye is a sweet and loveable gelding who came off the track in June of 2023. He raced a grand total of 3 times and showed almost no promise as a racehorse.
Together, Rye and I competed 7x at USEA rated events at the Starter level and qualified for 2024 AECs (American Eventing Championships). He averaged dressage scores in the low 30s and never had a cross-country jumping penalty.
At 2024 AECs he scored a 32.0 in Dressage, was a machine on cross country, cruised through the head of the lake and show jumped in the Rolex Arena. He finished on a score of 35.2, ending 13th in his division and was Reserve High Point TIP. It was such a special experience to get to ride him at the Kentucky Horse Park.
Rye was also a 2024 RRP graduate. At the Retired Racehorse Project, he competed in Dressage and Show Hunters. We finished as the 1st place “team” for the Dressage Discipline (21st overall).
Rye was sold in September of 2025.

Lola
(Toonie Loonie)
Age: 2016
Height: 16.2
Gender: Mare
Lola is a lovely mare who came off the track in October of 2020. She had just 14 starts before being retired from racing with no injuries and clean legs. Lola is sweet and docile soul.
I had fun hunter pacing and extensively trail riding with Lola. She is quiet as they come, and we attended a several local events including dressage schooling shows, and starter-level horse trials. We also competed in the 2′ hunter division at rated shows.
Lola was sold in September of 2022.

Spruce
Age: 2014
Height: 16.2
Gender: Gelding
I purchased Spruce as an unbroken and unregistered 4yr old thoroughbred colt. He had been living in a field with his buddies for a few years, and needed to be trained from the ground up. After gelding him, I had a blast bringing this hunk along. Spruce hunter paced, competed in several dressage schooling shows, and was shown at local horseshows over cross-rails.
Spruce was sold in September of 2020.
